Howdy all, Cory and I are leading two separate bike rides this Sunday. Options! Bring enough of the following to last you, since there will be no/very little support along these routes: - Water
- Food/snacks
- Cash money
- Air pressure source, extra tube or patch kit, tools (Cory recommends you all get used to carrying the following, for example)
Please RSVP to either Cory or myself, depending on which ride you wish to join (text us if you don't decide until after Friday). Cory rtyler@eagle.org 281-409-6920 Daniel dortiz@eagle.org 979-997-1769 When

What a great ride! As far as the Katy ride went, it was windy, but we headed north sooner than later and got that out of the way early, in time for a nice downwind stretch by the second half of the ride. If you didn't know your handlebar drops helped in a headwind, you should now. We kept a decent pace, stopping at every direction change to regroup. Everyone kept pace pretty well. We only made one pit-stop at a Chevron to replenish Marco & Braedi's moldy expired power bars. It was refreshing to finally get some miles on a few country roads again. I look forward to more soon. Cory had fair success from what I heard on his east-side ride. Again, windy, and longer, but not too bad. As always, take care and I hope to see you all at the next ride!
