Hi everybody, The ABS Eagles are going for another bike ride this weekend. Here are the particulars: When9:00 am, Saturday, 27 February 2016 WherePark and meet here, on the east side of Sam Houston Tollway, between Memorial Drive and Briar Forest Drive. It’s best if you approach the parking lot from the north. RouteHere is the route we’ll take. It’s roughly 17 miles one way. Depending on who all decides to come, we may shorten it up to about 10 miles one way. Almost all the route is dedicated bicycle trail, with only a small portion on a small public road just south of Barker Cypress in George Bush Park. We’ll decide which option FoodDepending on which option we take, there are two places we can stop to get some food: - Intersection of Fry Road and Westheimer Parkway – Marassi Pizzeria, Los Robertos Taco Shop, Some kind of French place…
- Intersection of Briar Forest Drive and State Highway 6 – Paul’s Seafood & Oyster Boat (we can eat here regardless of the route option)

What a great ride! About 35 miles round trip, it was a long ride for a trail ride. I was feeling weary by the last third. This ride has scenery, winding trail, some small hills, long straights, a little of everything. Unfortunately we didn't get to stop at Paul's Boat this time, but we'll definitely try this one again. Hope you all can make it when we do!
